Developed in collaboration with the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY), on this course, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of child development. You’ll discover how to promote wellbeing and contribute to a child’s education through play and routine, as well as gaining essential knowledge of safeguarding and childcare legislation. Additionally, you’ll learn how to comply with taxation requirements, create a strong business plan, as well as register with the appropriate regulatory body.

Description

Study Hours

  • The learning hours for this course are up to 60 hours, which is around 20 minutes per day for 6 months.


Study Method

  • Study completely online using our award-winning learning platform, MyOxbridge.


Course Duration

  • On average, students complete this course in 4 months, but we'll give you up to 12 months. Don’t worry if you go over though, we can organise an extension to your course for an additional fee, which also extends your tutor support.


Assessment

  • There will be self-assessment questions, and tutor-marked assignments (TMAs), to enable you to monitor your progress.

    Your work will be internally assessed based on a portfolio of evidence.
